My Story

Caring for those in need…

Caring for those in need has been my life’s work since 1991, when I began my career in healthcare. I started as a clinical aide, became an EMT, and spent over 20 years working as a paramedic, both in the field, and in the hospital setting. During that time, I cared for many people suffering from mental health problems and felt like I could do more.

In 2017, depression claimed the life of a friend and I found my motivation. I enrolled in graduate school to purse a degree in professional counseling and earn the license that I currently hold. It has been a long and difficult process, but my life’s work is a calling that I will always answer.

I have experience treating a wide variety of mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, men’s issues, first responder issues, compassion fatigue/burnout, personality disorders, and many more.

I am here to listen and to help.
